State Hunting Area (DLS) "Voden-Iri Hissar" is based in the Voden forest, where are: the administrative building, two hunting lodges and a large part of the hunting grounds. The Enterprise is situated in the northeastern part of the Ludogorie (Deliorman), near the village of Ostrovo. It is 36 km north of the town Razgrad, 70 km southeast of Ruse, 150 km from Varna Airport and 350 km from Sofia Airport. The Romanian capital Bucharest is 140 kilometers away. The Hunting ground includes parts of the municipalities of Razgrad, Zavet and Glavnitza. It represents two relatively independent forest complexes with a total area of 15,000 hectares. |
