State Hunting Area "Voden-Iri Hisar" has two hunting residences in Voden and one hunting house in the Iris Hissar. The unique architecture, nature and abundance of game has been and continues to be an attraction for many foreign and local hunters.
HUNTING RESIDENCE "FIRST" HOUSELocation It is located in the northeastern part of Ludogorie, 7 km away from the village of Ostrovo, Zavet Municipality. The district town of Razgrad is 30 km away from the farm. The distance to Sofia is 360 km, and to Varna airport - 160 km. Accommodation The building was built in the 1980s as a government hunting residence. The wood and the white limestone stone are the main materials in the façade of the house, and the interior of the building includes many carvings, woven tapestries, trophies and paintings by Bulgarian masters. In 2015 the major renovation of the building was completed. The fully renovated 9 apartments, 4 maisonettes and 2 rooms can accommodate up to 30 people at the same time. Visitors also have a sauna, a hot tub, a steam bath and a bar. |
HUNTING RESIDENCE "SECOND" HOUSEAccommodation The two-storey building is built in antique style, the wide porch with wooden parapet on the second floor attracts the eyes of all guests. The second house is categorized as a "hunting residence" with 3 apartments, 3 single rooms, 4 double and 1 triple room, where 20 guests can be accommodated at the same time. The authentic atmosphere of the house is preserved, with many trophies, large halls and cozy fireplaces. At guests disposal there are a hall, a living room, a dining room and a bar. The building was built as a government residence for official reception of high-ranking guests. |
HUNTING HOUSE "IRI HISAR"Location The hunting lodge in "Iri Hissar" is 4 km away from the village of Osen, Silistra region and only 25 km from the Danube River near the town of Tutrakan. The distance to Sofia Airport is 310 km, to Varna Airport 175 km. Accommodation The hunting lodge in Iris Hissar was built in 1973. The house offers its guests 7 rooms, a dining room and a living room with a huge fireplace around which the whole building is "build". Its creator, Grandpa Dacho, called her "The bear's lair". In 2014, the building was partially renovated and a barbecue was built in the vicinity, which adds extra color to the place and predisposes for pleasant outdoor hours. |
